Cooper’s CSA Corn Mazes
From 2006 to Present.
2024-Anime!
Some of our family often discuss anime, so Lisa decided to learn more about this genre as a potential maze theme. When she learned its mass popularity, it was an easy decision. Featured are some classic and more modern characters loved by fans.
2023- Farming for 30 Years!
This year Steve & Lisa celebrated 30 years of farming together and dedicating this years maze theme was a great way to show that off. Way to go Steve & Lisa!
2022- Canada Soccer
We are very excited to dedicate the 2022 corn maze to team Canada for all of their success & for the men’s team making it to the World Cup!
2021- “Live Love Bark!”
We love dogs here at Coopers CSA! After a long few years, we wanted to create a fun and cheery end to 2021 by dedicating the 2021 maze to our furry friends!
We had to cut the maze ourselves again this year! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still weren’t fully able to do the maze the same way that we usually would have! With a little design help, our crew went out with the tractor to cut the maze.
2020- Coopers CSA Farm
This year is special to us because we cut the corn maze ourselves! Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we were not able to create the maze the way we would normally do. Steve went old school and drew the map on grid paper, then he & his son Trenton cut the maze out using a tractor with a large “lawnmower” attachment (known as a bush hog).
2019-Stan Lee
We are big Marvel fans of both the cinematic and the comic book universe. We decided to dedicate the 2019 maze to the late Marvel Writer, “Stan Lee”.
2018- “We the North” Toronto Raptors
Even though we were a year too early, we like to think that we predicted the Toronto Raptors win of the 2019 NBA Season! We love basketball so it was an easy choice to dedicate our maze to our favourite Canadian Basketball team.
2017- Canada 150th Birthday
This was the year of a big milestone for Canada. Of course, we had to show our love and pride for our country by showing it off with corn! We were also recognized by our local agriculture community for having generations of family farming in Ontario for over 200 years! It was a good year.
2016- Game Of Thrones
We love to choose maze themes from current pop culture happenings. GOT was a big deal in 2016 and we ourselves really enjoyed the books and the series. We had lots of fans come to the maze to navigate through 10 acres of ‘Game of thrones corn’.
2015- Mike Babcock- “Plan the Parade”
We were very excited about the signing of Mike Babcock as head coach to the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey team. We wanted to get the luck stirring in hopes we could also motivate our favourite team to do well this season! It’s been a while since the cup has come to Toronto.
2014- Ghost Busters
We wanted to have some fun with this year’s maze, and we think we succeeded! A classic movie that all generations can enjoy, the ghostbusters theme brought many fans to the farm with great costumes!
2013- Let’s Go Blue Jays!
If you couldn’t tell… we like sports. We wanted to show some love to our favourite Canadian Baseball team! We may not have a lot of time to catch a game in the summer due to a busy work schedule, but we still wanted to show our support.
2012- Pumpkin Time
We grow a lot of pumpkins! We decided this year to grow some pumpkins with corn.
2011- Canadian Heart & Stroke
This year was dedicated to the hard work of the Canadian Heart & stroke foundation.
2010- Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey
As typical Canadians, we love our hockey! We grew a corn maze to show them how much we like them, we’d really like them to win the cup! However, when that happens you will know what the maze theme that year will be.
2010- Fall Version
Here was a photo that was taken when the corn was much drier and we had those beautiful fall colours!
2009- Breakfast Television
This was a fun year. We decided to have some fun with the hosts of BT!
2008- Fresh From Our Farm
We will let you know that in season eating and buying food right from your farmers is one of the best things you can do. We grow some great vegetables & fruits and we wanted to say that in a big way!
2007- Local Food Rocks
Another subject we are proud to preach.. supporting local. There is great food grown in our area, not just by us! There are tonnes of great quality food all around you, shop & support local!
2006- Proudly Canadian
Ahh our first maze. This is where it started, not only are we proud Canadians, we are proud farmers. Thank you all who come every year to support us! We are happy to provide this experience for so many of you.
